I have a favor to ask you all!

Hey guys! If you don't mind doing this, it would mean the WORLD to me!
I got invited to enter this contest with George Washington University's Modefy Designs, which is a clothing company that lets normal civilians to design a top that will me manufactured and sold to the general public. I loved the idea for the project, so I entered my design. It would mean so much if you liked it- every like counts for a vote! As of right now, I'm in first place, but the contest is going on until the end of next month, so anything can change, and your vote really does count! Here's my design:
It's a satin-ribbon backed shirt with one of my favorite color combinations of Fuchsia and Tangerine. I designed this with summer in mind- I am a huge fan of rolling up sleeves and long sleeves with shorts! I wanted to make this design versatile so that you can wear it whenever you want, and the low back will allow layering with a tank underneath.
Thank you SO much for your votes and I hope you have a fantastic rest of your week!

Singing in the Rain

It's been a very rainy past few days in my area. Rain, like snow, is a great time to add in some unexpected style to your day. Here are some of my favorite photos I've found recently for inspiration. I don't know about you, but my favorite smell in the world is rain on wet pavement. Best smell ever!
This outfit is too adorable! I love the stripes and trench.
This outfit is so chic for rain- I would almost say over the top. The accessory-heavy outfit and perfectly done hair is too cute, but I'm not sure this is something I would wear in such wet weather.
This is a great, bright, contrasted, yet simple look that's perfect for the rain!
Two of my favorite brands: Hunter and Barbour. Add in some Gucci and you've got me sold!
Here's a picture version sneak peek of a video that is in the process of being made for you guys!
This is one of my favorite pictures I found. It's so bright, cheery, and put together. The blue background is precious!
Cheetah print and red. I have to say, classic combination.
Another favorite! Gotta love wellies!
Bell bottoms couldn't look more perfect.
Have a great rainy Sunday! See you soon!
Here's my question for you: What do you wear on a rainy day?

Color Me Beautiful

My friend Isa and I hit the streets in our latest ensembles, shot some photos, and almost got kidnapped in two hours! Beat that!
This jump shot sort of reminds me of a Kate Spade or Marc Jacobs ad where they use an ironic pose. It turned out to be an interesting shot, although I have no idea what, "chock trailer when parked," means.
Top from American Apparel, Chino Shorts from J. Crew. Scarf from a local boutique. I positively love Kelly Green, and the scarf offsetted the shorts from being too dramatic. It has a fun Navajo print that is really great for summer.
Isa's olive shirt matches almost exactly with her eyes. It's a great color for her skin tone as well!
Now, if you're wondering about the kidnapping story, a man twice our size approached us and begged us to let him take pictures of us with my camera. We politely declined.
The water and sky were looking positively gorgeous. April is finally getting warm again!
This is one of my favorite shots of the day. The stair steps make a really neat angle.
I wore my Vera Bradley pink paisley bag that I've had for years so I'm not sure of the print's name. I figured the paisley had a nice contrast with the black but didn't take much attention from the scarf or shorts.
I love Isa's hair in this picture!
Thanks for reading, everyone! Have a wonderful Monday!

Plastic Sofas

Elli and I had a photo shoot a couple weeks ago with a plastic yellow sofa. Enjoy!
If you recognize this outfit, congrats! This was the same day. But if not, shirt from J. Crew (I think). Shorts from J. Crew as well, and Melissa sandals.
These are my absolute favorite shoes! With good reason!
Please, everyone call the modeling agencies for both Elli and I. We look "Freaking fabulous!" Those are Clinton Kelly's words, not mine!
The plastic sofa actually was quite comfortable!
Thanks for reading and I hope you got a great laugh! -Abby

Photo Shoot Inside a Giant Sphere

This week's photo shoot was held inside a giant sphere. It was insane.
I love this picture of Elli!
Skirt.
I had on a very pastel outfit. Spring weather is perfect for a sweet pop of color.
I love this picture!
We created a cool angle putting the camera through the arms of the bench- and the results were worth it!
Earn your wings!
Cherry blossoms!
Thanks for reading, everyone! I have some very exciting news on the way!
