Brogues Are So Vogue

Hey guys! I'm here with our first Fall 2012 trend report! Lately on the streets of Manhattan- and every other fashion lover's land- street photographers and magazines alike have caught this new and developing trend on it's toes- literally. 

Brogues are pretty new this fall. A few seasons back we saw oxfords selling like mad, but they were worn with skirts and dresses; never jeans. Brogues are a perfect tomboy-chic shoe to wear with your favorite pair of jeans that really do still polish off the look.

This minimalist look from Aquascutum makes the brogues perfectly compliment the skirt and tone down the poshness of the outfit, making it a bit more casual and wearable.

Georgio Armani really nailed the tomboy here, but added feminine pieces such as the metallic clutch and flower brooch. The different materials of the suit give more texture and contrast, giving visual interest.

Rihanna wears acne. I love the feminine colors of the suit, and the brogues stand out in a great way next to the honeysuckle pants.

Blogger from BeLighter perfectly captures wearing Brogues with jeans, and warms up the ensamble with her plum bag and oversized cardigan.

I'm also loving the two-toned brogue. These make a statement in themselves, but worn with a colored jean, they speak business.
